I'm Taylor Xhediku.
I'm a self-taught action painter, based in Vancouver. I studied Willem de Kooning and other abstract expressionists. Spirituality is essential in my painting since when applying the paint onto the canvas it is a very transcendental act throughout.
I studied drawing at Langara College. At the Art Studios, I was trained in pastels, watercolour, drawing, and acrylics. Since 2008, I"ve taught myself oil painting techniques and experimented with tools and a combination of mediums.
Art builds community since painters befriend one another.
My passions are music and art. also played acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass for most of my life.
I've exhibited at Christ Cathedral Church, Thieu Art Gallery, Connection Salon, the Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival and The Art Studios Traveling Art Show.
I'm part of a duo band called Beautiful Lizards.
